All was well then not

A1C calibration can be modified and configured to operate all EFI-SD4x ECUs in 4 cylinder, 6 cylinder and 8 cylinder configurations.

All was well then not

Hey all,
Have not been on here for a long time as I got to a point where I was happy with all my tune work. my rig is a 93 Bronco 5.8 (about 8K miles on engine) AFR 185s, small crane roller (just over stock), Edelbrock truck upper and lower, 30lb injectors, moats QH, tuner pro and a 95 E4OD (with 93 solenoid pack). I had it all dialed in and happy, (have a wide band) helped out some shift points, etc. Well, this year after its winter slumber I noticed that after driving for a while (maybe 30 minutes) I was getting some crazy upshifts and converter locking up in second. Did some reading and found about a hundred things to check, but because each time it would start fresh and would be fine, I didn't believe it was an actual trans problem. (fluid is clean, good color, etc.) have a heavy-duty cooler on after the rad cooler...Also noticed that I also started getting a raised idle during those times. Now the idle is stuck at about 1300 (hot) and the trans is doing the same (fine for a while, then pissy). Since my original work I have a new laptop (work provides) so I loaded up tuner pro etc. I loaded in my strategy (EFI-SD4X_180125, and C3P2 bin). With key off it will never say emulating. Could my QH battery be going dead? It is from 2019. Weird thing is if that was the case I would expect my AFR to be reading in the 10-11 range (once the chip came loose and that's what it did). Also noticed that my "check engine light" never comes on, even for prove out. Any thoughts? Thank you for your time!!!

I don't have a reader, might be a purchase I need to make. Can tuner pro pull codes? KOEO and KOER?

I need an old NGS tester. I used to do this crap for a living (21 years ago) and wouldn't be asking but Tuner Pro isn't something you can dabble with 5 years ago and then remember everything. It seems odd to me that no CEL at all yet obviously it is operational (PCM). That used to be an easy check for a dead processor.

Can can buy an innova odb1 code reader at Autozone. That would probably be the first step, I’d think. I can’t help you with any tunerpro questions as I’m very new to it.

Thats right about the flash codes. If MEL is out, that may not work. For $70 the reader is just too handy to not have. Thanks. Will report back when codes are read.
