get into closed loop ASAP
I usually force closed loop as soon as the hegos report rich, you do that by:
set the "minimum hego switches required to allow closed loop" scalar to 0
and set all closed loop delay scalar (warm hego delay) to 30 seconds, make sure the hegos come alive after that 30 seconds or it'll just dump fuel to get the hegos to switch
once she gets into closed loop, wait for her to get to warm stable idle
while its warming up its a good idea to look over the engine and make sure theres no leaks, etc..., check the tire pressure as well if you hadn't already and get her ready to go for a cruise
once shes up to warm idle, go ahead and unplug the tps sensor (if you need to open the blade) and approximate how much you need to adjust the throttle screw based on the value of IPSIBR, if IPSIBR is 0 and your closed to dsdrpm then no worries
work the mafv from idle up to 6k redline and dial in the fuel
apply the highest fuel correction you can reach to all the flows above that maf voltage too
next if you hadn't already set the fuel table for e85, subtract 0.05 from the top 3 rows (90, 105 and 120 perload) that should have you demanding .75 at 120 perload and .825 at the 90 and 105 perload in the base fuel table
then drive her and try to reach the next mafv point in the maf curve that you couldn't reach free revving it, watch the lambse and wideband and dial it in, then repeat this again reaching the next mafv point, so on and so forth until you've got it all dialed in
let me know if you need clarification on any of this
the step1 write up can give you more details as for as what needs to be done
