Heated throttle body necessary?

A1C calibration can be modified and configured to operate all EFI-SD4x ECUs in 4 cylinder, 6 cylinder and 8 cylinder configurations.

Heated throttle body necessary?

I was thinking about bypassing the coolant lines since the fittings on the TB are pretty much corroded away. Any thoughts on the subject? This is on a stockish 5.8

I think the coolant through the throttle body is supposed to help the engine warm up quicker when cold.
Probably only effective when below sub freezing temperatures.
Just as good as the aftermarket hot air intakes.
