idle spark

Unread postby ranga83 » Tue Sep 30, 2014 11:34 pm

hi all, this is all on an aussie eec-v SD ecu, just trying to work out what controls idle spark? I have 0'd out the first 3 column in all the spark tables and it does nothing, I can change it but changing the spark upper clip, but im still getting around 30deg advance by the timing light with the upper clip set to 5deg.
cheers

feedback spark

look for a value called spk_load_res
double that scalars value and it will reduce your spark

you can go to the mbt table and drop the spark at the idle cell

I tried that. I set the first 3 columns in all spark tables to 10's then 0's and it didn't change. the only way I could change it was with the spark upper clip
