no spark out of the coil wire. tune was unchanged, ran great for a few days and just stopped running at all. i should have a spare coil wire just to try.

the cam's not spinning. these are non interference engines, right? at this point, i'm ready to get rid of the car. probably part it out, because nobody knows about these lincolns and will buy it. i like those mustang SVO's, how are those for tuning?

oh boy. it's getting better. i had hoped that the chain JUST fell off. but it also tore up the two screws to the cam blocking plate, and threw metal shavings into the oil pan. i'm hoping that i can just pull the pan and clean it out, but i don't know if the engine would pull all of it up and ruin the block.
