speed density sub-forum?

Unread postby YaBoyHalle » Fri Sep 19, 2014 3:15 pm

maybe i'm just the oddball on this again, but it would be nice to have a section specific for speed density, for all the lightning's, 87 stang's etc. the MAF users can get their info from the foxbody section, and it would remove tunes like the LUX0 from those mainly MAF areas to make it easier to find without digging through MAF topics.

after all, it can't stay as empty as the forum for RX7 owners..

added

VE is simple, your basically doing the same thing you would when you dial in the failed maf table

hold it at a single cell and multiply the VE by the wideband/lambse difference

you could or use the VE multiplier scalar

if you have access to the VE multiplier scalar change that from 1.0 to 2.0

then divide the table by half, that should give u more headroom to adjust away

up to 160, then 180:1.0391, 254:1.1875 it looks like the max i can input is 1.992 so maybe times it by 1.5? it can't be that bad once i get to the actual tuning.

KVEFF is apparantly the exact scalar i need. AMPEM multiplier. it's in the tune, so problem solved. i'll times it by 1.2 and dvide VE by the same.

this was exactly the question I was about to ask you decihpa lol.
the VE multiplier isn't defined in my def yet, is there an open source def that has it I could look at so I can try and find it in my bin?
