98 exp sport

Hello.
I dont know if this is the right place but I want to put a 5.0 Windsor from a similar gen explorer but with a manual instead of automatic. I need to use the accompanying ecu for the swap but will I be able to disable most or all of the automatic trans sensors and such with a custom tune?
I'm sure there are easier ways but my application has strict guidelines so this is really my only option.

Thank you!

V8 Explorer ECU and Premium Membership will get you going I believe.

Disabling auto trans stuff is very doable.
