open office instead of microsoft excel

anybody ever use open office to open datalogs? i kmow you can use excel but i cant get the spreadsheet in open office to open any of my logs.

Oxford white, grey trim and canyon red interior. 306 with twisted wedge heads, Anderson b3 cam, holley systemax intake, ev6 30lbs inj., c&l 80mm maf, 70mm tb, longtube headers. Im currently using a plx wideband mounted in the driverside header. Tuning with moates quarterhorse and BE although sometimes i play around with Tunerpro

it would appear i lied, i thought i had open office but i don't i have libre office, I've never paid attention to it lol

download that, it works great and is freeware

Seconding Libreoffice. It can save as the Microsoft format as well as the open format. I've also never had a problem with opening datalogs and some XDFs

I downloaded libre and like it better than open office. Unfortunately my issue was loose not on the keyboard. I was trying to open the files in the spreadsheet instead of exporting them. Troy got me straightened out
