AFR different in different gears

Unread postby Blown38 » Mon Jul 24, 2017 9:26 am

94 SC 5 Speed

The AFR is leaner in lower gears. It is spot on in 4th and 5th, where I tuned it. Is this normal or is there a way to make it right?

Let me add, this is in open loop under boost.

Transients are probably off so I it'll be wonky in the lower gears where they don't have time to taper off. I'm sure Decipha will have better advice.

Thanks, I'll look into that. Never messed with transients.

i doubt it, supercoupe engines dont need very much transient fuel at all

most likely just need to dial it in
