No the evp just lets the ecu know if the egr isnt working correctly. You leave the EGR 100% functional. The egr valve position is just the feedback of the valve position to set a fault. Without the evp the ecu just commands the egr it wants and if it doesnt get it then it wont set a fault. It will still function correctly.

My dry shot n2o code for gufx has a wideband safety in it and probably eventually ill do full cl wb for gufx but its a ways out.

NBs can only read lean or rich and cant correct at WOT. The wideband corrects the afr at WOT so you always get exactly what your commanding no matter what.

I recently replaced my evp sensor because it was causing the motor to stall. That ended up being why I had so many issues trying to make the truck run right with the 80lb injectors. I'm putting them back in now.

I think I see the problem now. Your mistakenly assuming the closed loop wideband control uses the stock code. There is no stock wideband closed loop code its all custom code I'm writing. Hence your EVP caused you issues because your still using stock code. In my code the evp never existed.

Ok I think this clears it up for me as well. Only with this new code your writing you leave the egr hooked up along with the WB output hooked into the ecu's evp pin.

So in my case when i hookup the WB to log i will still need to unplug the egr valve, correct?

No. You can leave it plugged in. It doesn't matter since you have it disabled.

No need. A cheap mechanical fuel pressure regulator is the greatest boost controller money can buy.
