Hi Michael
I did all the harness work
Double checked it , installed it
And hooked up Battery
Everything seems to work
But I have a no start issue
The engine won’t turn over!
Could it be the Ford PATS system?
If so can I rip that out if the car?

there is no pats on 93 mark 8

are you saying the starter wont engage or the engine isnt firing ?

starter interrupt you can bypass by grounding that circuit at the original pcm connector or just run another relay trigger to the ignition switch

if the engine is cranking but not firing then you probably dont have power to the edis module.

I hooked everything up,I tied into the wiring harness of the mustangs PCM for close proximity.
I took out the Mustangs PCM and benched it.
All that’s in the car is the Mark8 ECM and it’s harness.
I go to turn the key, I have acc power everywhere, but it won’t turn over.
The PATS system is in the Mustang from factory
I’m wondering if that could be the issue?

Michael,
How do I bypass this starter interrupt at the original PCM Connector? Are you saying the Mustang connector?
Which wire should I ground?

Hi Michael,
I grounded PIN number 2
And still nothing!!!
I have accessory power, I have lights, heater,
Windows, locks, power seats all working;
but when I turn the key to start position
‘nothing’ like a dead battery.
(It’s a new battery)
