Setting Mechanical Idle Question

Unread post by DiabolicFox »

I have a question about setting the PSIBRM. Im logging at idle .0210, and it will sometimes fall all the way into the -.0125 range. Idle rpm is spot on 775-815, and Im commanding 800 in NUBASE. I read where it says if the PSIBRM is greater than .0500, then slightly open the tb. If the value is 0 and the idle is too high when compared to NUBASE, then slightly close the tb. As long as my idle is spot on, and my PSIBRM is between .0125 and .0210, then Im good to go, or it cant drop below .000? Also, I have zeroed out all that ws on the list and followed it to a T, but Im still logging ISCDC of 12-17 ata steady 800 rpm idle. Is this how its suppose to be? Thanks!
