Phone Insurance is a Gimmick

So Ive never been one to feed into insurance but i figured why not only $60 a year with a $100 deductible for a replacement $300 phone IF something happens

So i gave it a quick about and i see my tele now cost $100 new on amazon soo uh yeah

Doesnt make sense to have it unless your tele is worth big bucks

Yep, insurance and extended warranties for gadgets and smaller appliances are usually a rip off if you buy them all your life and collect very occasionally. They've done the math and it's going to work out for them. In many cases there is as much or more profit in the warranty sale then the actual product.
