Any 6.0 love?

I have a very nice 2005 f350 KR that I have owned for 12 years and with replacement prices around 80k might own a bit longer. It’s had an SCT with innovative HG safe tunes for ever. Now that I really want to play with it I can’t get egr delete tunes due to EPA crack down. Guess I’m lucky I was forced to upgrade to the new live wire after SCT stopped supporting my original. I did get a set of TW tunes that work well but could be much better. Customer support is lacking and revised tunes are almost impossible. So does sailor bob have a complete file available and moats works on this truck? What are my options and costs? FICM tuning is not needed

no, unless he recently started, he doesn't mess with the power pc's

no you cannot use a quarterhorse since its not an eec

you already have the sct might as well stick with it

what issues are you having?

Issues

Black smoke laggy during an O-shit moment and you gun the throttle from a stop. VGT is only 50-35% during a move like this, i would think you could get it to light quicker demanding more from the VGT.

Trans shifting is always an issue for me towing my 37' 5th wheel camper. In tow haul i hate the MPH based shifting, I asked for load based or at least a way i could force a up-shift by reducing throttle. Its still MPH based and there is no need for me to be rolling threw towns at 3k at 40 MPH with no real load. I tend to drive the truck not in tow haul because it shift exactly how it should but flip on tow haul when i need my turbo brake. I also have a very violent 6-4 downshift.

I wouldn't mind playing with split shot to try and bring the noise level down on the tow tune when at camp sites. Truck has 89k miles so if it wears the injectors twice as fast i could care less. I put 2-3k a year on it and hope to get a 2019-2020 6.7 psd in 3 or so years.

What does the SCT software cost? thought 10 years ago when i looked into it it was pricey.
