port matching SVO intake manifold

Unread postby redtopracer » Thu Jun 18, 2020 9:14 am

Ok, well the SVO intake manifold im using has well, the SVO ports on it lol. I am of course using this on a PI motor with a dab of RTV on the intake manifold side to seal the water chambers.

My question is this. Should i port out the SVO manifold to match the PI intake or should I port match to the head as much as possible? Or is it a huge waste of time and should I just run it as it is?

I ask because in my readings on modifying 2v's its said to be a no no port matching, something to do with killing low speed air velocity.
