any information about dash cluster would be helpful. I have a gt cluster in my v6 that I swapped a 5.0 into, pats is disabled but my tach is not working. I do show rpm on tunerpro data logging though. 99 v6 to 5.0 Windsor swap with eec-v cvaf1 strat

Take a look at the wiring going to the cluster. When I built the adapter harness for my OBD2 conversion, I pinned the wrong wire. That might be the case here.

ran diagnostic test on it and needle doesn't sweep so going to test original cluster to verify wiring not the issue

problem solved white face was touching needle. The simplest thing can be such a headache.
