EEV-IV TQ and HP Monitors (TQ_NET/TQ_OFM)

A1C calibration can be modified and configured to operate all EFI-SD4x ECUs in 4 cylinder, 6 cylinder and 8 cylinder configurations.

EEV-IV TQ and HP Monitors (TQ_NET/TQ_OFM)

Unread post by wwhite »

I have been attempting to get accurate results using the Monitors for HP and TQ, but the numbers are way off.
Same with the history tables for N_TP_RWHP_EECIV and N_TP_RWTQ_EECIV.

The main problem I have is that the output in the history tables, only shows RPM at 2000, does not move up the RPM scale.

On another note, I believe I have found the EEC-IV "Net engine torque into transmission, ft-lb." for A1C.
(I say believe, because I use KID2, similar but different).
- TQ_NET = Net engine torque into transmission, ft-lb.
- TQ_OFM = Transmission input torque, ft-lb.

Ram address 0x[35f] = TQ_NET
Ram address 0x[32e] = TQ_OFM

With a bit of fiddling, I have the monitors graph of N_TP_RWTQ_EECIV, overlaid on my TQ_NET RPM - N vs TQ NET graph, and the lines are very similar shape.

Red is TQ_NET.
Yellow is HP.
Green is RPM.
Light blue is RWTQ_EECIV

Anyways, might be simpler and more accurate to log the raw TQ_NET from ram, rather than having to compute it in the ADX.
Forgot to mention, not sure if this works for manual trans.

The monitors, only for MAF. Oh, ok.
I'll delete them, and recreate for what I need.
Thanks.
