HPX maf 4 inch tube

Anyone have experience with an standard HPX slot maf in a 4 inch tube? Wondering how stable the signal will be.

The sensor element itself has no bearing on the airflow through the housing so it will be as stable as any other sensor element.

But when you increase the MAF diameter the MAF element can have trouble picking up a signal reliably. You haven't had any issues?

no the slot picks up from the center of the pipe not the outside wall so its far less affected
