MPG Accuracy

Unread postby RIKIL » Tue Apr 11, 2017 12:55 pm

Is the MPG accurate that is logged with my tune? I just took two logs after my truck was warm, one short log and one several miles. I then exported the logs to excel and took the average of the MPG column and it seems a bit high but I am not sure.

The MPG payload is one I made. If it is inaccurate, that means that you didn't follow the directions for dialing it in to your injectors' high slope.

Is this correct or did I map it wrong?

I take that back, that isn't mine. Mine has a separate value determining GPH then divides GPH by MPH to find MPG.

no i wouldnt put any true value into it, think of it as a dyno

its only real use is to let you know if your changes are positive or negative
