"Security" tune

I want to have a tune I can load that will start the vehicle but not allow the RPM to go above 1500. I'd rather not disable starting completely, I think it is best to make the vehicle immobile.

Set the rev limiter to 1500.

What is the rev limiter called because I looked and didn't see anything obvious. I'm using a U4P0

I was not using the latest def or the latest tuner pro. I have installed both and see a lot of new items from adding the new def. I will look closer tomorrow when I have more time. I need to read up about patches in Tuner Pro, I had not seen that before and when I searched for 'rev', one of the results that came up was something about a patch. thx

is this latest def meant to be encrypted? Makes it hard for me to read the description of the parameter, that's all.

great, I will use that window...but it is still blank. I switched back to my previous def and I can get the info to show in the parameter window. This is what I downloaded - http://efidynotuning.com/xdf/CBAZA_20161212.zip

When I open that file in an editor, it is not text like other defs, and this new one is not readable in an editor so I assume it is encrypted

Sorry, I am not trying to be a pain. All I really want to do is set a rev limiter in my tune, since it isn't called something like 'rev limiter', I need to search through the details for each parameter to find the rev limiter. I can't see the details in the new def that I loaded, but the def does load fine in TunerPro

The comments are showing up now. I had to use F10 to open the window then the close and reload TunerPro

I got what I needed, I set NLMTHI and NLMTNEUHI to my max RPM, this will limit the RPM in both neutral and drive gears
