Marauder walbro 450

I'll soon be replacing the fuel pump in my 04 Marauder with a walbro 450.

I was curious what should be changed in the tune with the fuel pump parameters to dial this in correctly.

I've read both that it would self learn if values were close and that i also had to log it to make it accurate.

I'd seen a lot of issues with high fluctuations in pressures etc when changing pumps on the return-less setups and want to avoid that if possible..

Thanks

you dont want a walbro. Get a stock coyote pump for a 2014 mustang gt and toss that in.

You just simply drive and let the fuel pump voltage histogram populate then after youve driven enough to get good data you copy the values over to the fuel punp voltage table.

nothing to it

Interesting. Is the histogram obtained just using a normal data log in tuner pro ?

Whats the flow on the 2014 pumps ? trying to support about 450 rwhp max on E85.

yes just start polling and bring up the fuel pump histogram and select averaging then go for a cruise

once youve got enough good data apply it to your fuel pump voltage table

/done

they are roughly 320lph and will support over 500rwhp on e85 no prob

damn thats awesome i never knew that.

Thanks ! i'll look out for one . i was looking but couldn't find any for sale
I already started modding a FPDM . was going to order a wiring kit also . I assume there is no need to do this ?

did you still need logs of a stock engine marauder and fuel pump duty cycle ?

moddig the fpdm and upgrading the wiring is always a good idea it certainly cant hurt but not neccesary

From my posting on the marauder forum? nah no need my fuel pump is just weak. I'll change it when it craps out. I have a few coyote pumps laying around and a whole replacement drop in hat from the 04 marauder spare.

Awesome i never realized those would deliver enough fuel. Whats the stock pump in the marauder ?

I was data logging the fuel pump and everything stock. the data shows 0.48 at WOT . is that the value in percentage ?

Also how much you want for a fuel pump from the coyote ?

.48 is the dc commanded, *2 == 96% duty cycle. Thats maxed out. It should have turned red to let u know.
