HEGO Question (Check Engine)

Unread postby biffbastion » Thu Nov 09, 2017 8:17 am

Okay so I didn't have any luck with anyone commenting on my log, so decided to take a snapshot of what was going on. I noticed during that run that the IEGO1 stayed at 0.02 to 0.03 and the IEGO2 was staying around 0.93-0.94 during cruising. During this time the check engine flashed on and then later it finally went out....probably when I accelerated again. What could be causing this? I noticed the FUELPW1 and 2 were well off from each other. Assuming because of the info the O2's were sending. Just note I am running an X pipe and I have not disabled the driver bank just yet. I still get intermittent check engine lights when driving. I am going to swap out the 02's to see if that does anything.

Thanks

your banks are most likely fine, the reason why one side is going lean and the other is going full rich is because the x pipe is cross scavenging, that's how x pipe's function, sounds like your x pipe is working fine

with an x pipe you have to disable hego2 in order to prevent this issue

So basically I am chasing my tail with this one. Thanks Decipha. Finally had more time to revisit this. Yeah every log I check shows the Passenger side at full Lean and the Driver side goes full rich. I will switch it to the Passenger bank only and try more logs. Still thinking about getting that wideband, but since I am so close to stock you would think I really do not need it at this point. Perhaps I am wrong about that too
