Unread postby Janti » Thu Sep 28, 2017 1:59 pm

Hi.
I'm new to this forum and have been looking all over for strategy file for my ecu. Have quarterhorse that I was thinking to use on the ecu.

Ecu is
Part number. F8UF-12A650-NB
Hardware. ML2-431
Catch code RII1

Does anyone know were to find an strategy file?
Or is it just easiest to buy a chip and put in the ecu??

Was thinking of tuning it for more power while towing and altering shift points for trans but without strat file there's no way I can do this myself.

Is there any other solutions, maybe go for an different ecu or buy a tuner liker SCT X4

with sct u have to buy the handheld and the prp software too which adds up

best option is to go with either a remote online tune for $600 or just get the strat developed for $300

from the eecv list

98 E-Series / EXPLORER/ MOUNTAINEER - (4 bank)
CJAB1 codes
ML2-451, ML2-431, ML2-432, ML2-473

covers
CPAI1, CJAB0, CPAF3, CPAGB, CPAIA, CPAIB, CPAF4
CPAI3, RAAD3, RAAD4, RAAD0

thats quite a bit it opens up for other if u do decide to
