Too rich when warming up + dfso question

Unread postby Pappacosworth » Sun Sep 03, 2017 10:18 am

Car is 1994 5.0 Mustang GT, original 19lb injectors swapped to 24 lbs M-9593-A302F. I found injector data from Ford Racing pdf, but I have rich cold situation. BE suggests to scale FN348A according to low slope change. But low slope ratio is reversed, old slope 28.8 and new 26.21. Does FN348A have effect after cranking?
Tune started from Efidynotuning base file, and Sailorbops strategy.

Car details:
AFR 165 heads, Trick Flow Intake Manifold 5.0L Track Heat, 1.6 rollers
75MM tb, BBK Shorty Headers, X-pipe, Cold
Air Kit, Flowmaster exhaust, 24lbs injectors, fuel pump 190 Lph, Gss242
2.73 ->3.55. and automatic.

I have Megalogviewer histograms from warming up. I like the program, easier to adjust from log files.

Where should I make adjustments, lambse is correct, but wideband shows too rich?

I got it turned other way. Now it's lean. I made correction formula to calculate maf values and I have to make test drive again. But I have trouble to match low load lambse both cold and warm, I mean I always got it working either cold or warm not both. Injector slopes?
Lambse Subtractor Table FN1361 > does this output different fuel amount than lambse?

I got it close enough so adaptives can handle it. Only one problem is left. When coasting, injector cut occurs at regular intervals for some time. It's annoying, like someone pulls handbrake. It happens at 1500 rpm. I tried to alter some parameters but can't find the solution. I don't understand dfso process clearly enough.

you can adjust the dashpot closed throttle time delay and the dashpot time extended scalars

and as for RPM, you can kick up the min rpm to allow dfso, that value is added to dsdrpm so keep that in mind
