Disabling hego 2

Disabling hego 2
Trying to disable hego 2 for my turbo setup. When I disable the hego 2 per instructions the vehicle will not start.

did you set numego to 1 and all of the output ports for cyl 5 6 7 and 8 the same as bank 0 for 1 2 3 and 4 ?
