Got my dyno results

Unread postby RIKIL » Wed Jul 08, 2015 6:54 pm

Not bad, but wanted more...318 is max HP. I am curious what the parasitic loss is through my torque converter and then the E4OD

Big D...would you mind reviewing this tune? It started from your A9L2 tune and want to know if it is OK. Made by Under Pressure Power and Performance in Colorado Springs

your maf is clipped at 3.6v thats not good, they also added some air there meaning it was probably leaning out

they corrupted the Ol ect threshold function fn320a
they disabled peak load scaling fn035 and added a bunch of fuel using the wot multiplier function
they corrupted the base fuel table fn1362, the last row should be maxed out for overheat protection, they removed it but left 1 cell maxed and the bottom maxed out
they also 0'd out the last column of the startup table to compensate, not very wise at all

they also copied the spark table to altitude and base which are disabled, they modified the wot spark function which is disabled??

they kept the a9l2 base spark table in there and didn't apply the mbt offset nor did they dial in any of the spark table other than on the big end

overall, fuel wasn't dialed in, spark wasn't dialed in, and the maf is clipped, I'd say its a failure but it will run the engine lol

well I was a bit afraid of that. I told him all about this tune and it was setup to dial in fuel and spark. gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! oh well, back to the starting point

would any of the stuff he did mean I am not making peak power?

considering he didn't adjust any timing below WOT probably so, what does your spark curve look like at WOT ?

What the fuck are you asking me for? :) I am the person who can't tune and took it to someone who did worse than I did. heheeh. I'll use this tune to drive around but eventually start over.

As soon as you said he changed all that shit, I just shook my head and knew...ugh. I'll either find someone to tune this my way or do it myself. I would like to go back and show this guy a power curve that got more power than he could because he touts that he can do that as compared to others in town who tune. I was at least hoping he would dial in fuel and then I could go from there, I think that is the main hump I can't get past is dialing in fuel.

I am gonna use him, definitely.

I just took my first log since this guy tuned it...at one point I got on it and load went from 100-150. At that time the AFR went from the low 13's to upper 11's so I didn't run lean, which is good, but lambse is 0.86, so it's easy to see fuel is not dialed in.
