cathedral to rectangular adapter plates

Unread postby infansea » Thu Jul 06, 2017 10:16 pm

anyone familiar with these? I have an lq4 that I am finally getting around to working on and am tossing around the idea of using a once-warrantied LSA blower from the CTS-V. The "LSA" heads and blower have rectangular intake ports and the 317s on my 6.0 are cathedral port. There are a few companies who produce adapter plates to fit this blower on cathedral port heads but i am wondering if this could negatively affect the flow of air into the heads making whack afr? torque loss through the adapters? should I just source a set of l92/ls3 heads ?

advice is appreciated!

The adapters are bandaids really, but you shouldn't have any issues with them under boost. I'd run them.
