Thats pretty archaic. The quarterhorse does it much cleaner.

EFI-SD42F / JOY0
Tuning a 347 w/ RV cam, 1.7 rollers, 60lb deka injectors, but otherwise stock (in particular the stock 30-45lb FPR). Emissions vehicle.

The notes include the original schematics, same as scanned in links above, other than a couple sticky notes.

Also has a print out of original MS .bas code.

I got it just for the fact it’s old, cool and geeky fun.

i think it's really cool. i assume this was something from the very early days of EEC IV tuning, like early-mid 90s?

I still think doing a UV erase / in place reprogram of the factory eprom would be the most useful development. I love the quarterhorse but being able to reprogram the box when done tuning would be amazing. Any hope of using something like this to reprogram it? I have a ECU with a bad injector driver I'd be willing to donate for testing purposes.

Yeah, I’m still thinking the same, but my research showed max uv erase/reprogram on these chips will only happen 50 to max 100 times then they fail completey
