4r70w swap woes

Unread postby SlowBox » Tue Aug 21, 2018 1:14 pm

Got the trans in and the car running after the U4P2/4r70w swap and now it's time to dial it all in. I figured out most of what I need to know regarding how the new ecu runs the engine and the trans but it's a little quirky and I'm not sure if it's wiring, pins I put in the wrong place, a shit trans or leaky valvebody, or a crappy tuner.

First question is about what functions or what scalar would cause the ecu to command 3rd gear during tip-out at highway speeds?

Attached is my dookie tune, but no logs. Next time.

It's not doing it until I beat on it and TOT is over 220. Still have yet to find anything commanding a downshift. Maybe I'm not commanding enough CT line pressure?

Turns out it couldn't hold the OD band when I closed the throttle. Increasing the bottom cells of fn616f to 18 fixed this problem.
