A9L2 Mechanical Idle PROGRESS!

Unread postby Headshot » Fri May 27, 2016 5:53 pm

With better slopes and a dumbed-down MAF curve, this actually somewhat worked.

PLEASE TAKE A PEEK AND SHOOT ME SOME FEEDBACK!

Issues:
IPSIBR went high a bit but came back down
When my electric fan cuts on, the motor, AFR, and RPM Bog down pretty hard
When I move between Drive (I set the idle in drive) to Park and vice versa, the idle stays higher.
(in the tune this is where it jumps and takes a few minutes to trickle back down)

Any thoughts on a workaround for the fan bog, and bringing the idle back down when shifting?

I included my warm up and idle set log, and then I let it cool for 10 minutes and did another log. In the second one, I move between park and drive a few times, and the fan cuts on.

Thanks for your help!

at 180° ECT warm fire off you can see in the log at 3.2 et when you hit the key it didn't fire off until 5.7 et, fire off should never be more than a second, most likely you need to kick up the cranking pw at the higher temps, i usually go to the 150+ ect and multiply it by 1.20 to give it 20% more cranking pw, should fix that right up

when it stabilized at a warm idle at the end of the log you can see IPSIBR went up to 0.38 you need to go open the throttle stop pretty significantly so IPSIBR stays below 0.05

at 1.3 mafv where she was idling the lambses were switching at about 13.5 / 14.64 = 0.92 lambda, you need to add in 8% fuel in that range
