I just finished installing a 4R70W in place of the AOD that came in the bronco. I copied over the trans parameters from a 95 F150 CBAZ0. I have no real issues with my tune before the swap, other than now i have no idea how to optimize the trans portions. The trans is a stock unit out of a 5.0 98 explorer, so it shifts pretty softly, but i dont know if i need to adjust the tune, a j-mod, or both to make its shifts feel firmer and crisper. I dont have any datalogs yet or been able to fully vet out the trans yet due to the registration being expired.

U4P0 computer with Quarterhorse and BE, EA. AOD with all of the goodies.

So i went through the trans write up, and made the recommended changes. It feels better, but shifts are still vague and feel very soft like i was driving a Cadillac. I ran out of time yesterday, and didnt get to fire up tunerpro to pull an unencrypted bin for you. I still dont know if it would benefit to do the jmod or if i can get it to shift firmer without it.
