Dialing in AccelEnrichment and AETAR

Unread post by efloth »

Since increasing my valve lift with higher ratio rocker arms I've had to adjust AE to eliminate some shudder during aggressive acceleration. My valve lift increased from .400 (at 1.6:1 stock rocker ratio) to .4325 (at 1.73:1) or about 7%

I increased the AE Global Multiplier from 1 to 1.25 and AETAR from 8 to 4 degrees and the shuddering mostly went away. Is that a reasonable solution or is there a more scientific way of dialing in AE? I am going to set the multiplier to 1.3 on my drive home tonight to see if that eliminates it completely.
