So i have been able to finally identify the TYCO part numbers for the 104pin connector so you no longer need to rely on junk yard parts.

Female Terminal - F4SB-14487-AA or XL2T-14487-AA - 776235-1 sourced from onlinecomponents.com

ECU Connector End (solders to the pcb) - F5SB-14A624-AA - 770750-1 sourced from onlinecomponents.com minimum order quantity of 6

Harness Connector End(bolts to the ecu) - F5SB-14A464-AA - 776557-1 sourced from onlinecomponents.com minimum order quantity of 48 (i ordered these from connectorpeople.com, they have them in stock but have a $25 dollar minimum. i ended up ordering 6 of them for just over that.)

Gasket - 776237-1 - sourced from onlinecomponents.com minimum order quantity of 625

Housing cover (strain relief) - 770768-1 - sourced from onlinecomponents.com

All of the part numbers listed AFTER the Ford numbers are the TE Connectivity numbers (formerly Tyco Electronics). Those should be able to be sourced virtually anywhere.

I am still looking for vendors for the few parts that have to be purchased in bulk.

EDIT

Added tech docs and tech drawings

So i finally got the terminals and the connectors in that i ordered. They are exactly what they appeared to be in the tech drawings. I have attached a few pictures.

Also, I was informed by the folks at connectorpeople.com when i ordered the connectors that they have a different part number for the terminals that go in it. They sent me a small sample of them to compare to the ones i purchased from onlinecomponents.com. They are identical, even though they are different part numbers. The best part is... THEY ARE WAY CHEAPER!

Lets break this down.

Part number 776235-1 (first number I had found) sourced from onlinecomponents.com cost $0.386 each. No minimum quantity, only minimum $50 purchase. If you only buy these from them you get 130 terminals for the minimum purchase amount.

Part number 776326-1 (new number i was given) sourced from connectorpeople.com cost $0.121 each. Minimum of 83 to be purchased at a time, also has a minimum $25 purchase. If you only buy these from them you get 207 terminals for the minimum purchase amount.

If you buy the terminals and the housing from connector people, you can save on shipping, and save money. The housing from connector people is only $4.99 each. But you have to buy a minimum of 3.

Lets say you buy the 3, thats $14.97, then you get 300 terminals so you have 100 per housing and that will probably give you some left overs since not every position is filled. So thats an extra $36.30. So for $51.27 plus freight and tax, you get what you need plus spares that you could unload on ebay if you so choose.

I know that this is a way cheaper option considering that mass-air.com sells the bare connector on ebay for $59.95 plus shipping, and if you want it with terminals its $149.95 plus shipping. They also will NOT sell you just the terminals.

I have been searching and searching for quite some time. Came across your previous thread and thought the trail had gone dead. Thank you for sticking with it, and posting this information. Looks like the female terminals are on back order until June of 2017. Fingers crossed I can get my hands on enough to build my harness in a few months.

Man, connector people had a ton of both of the part numbers for the terminals, but someone cleaned them out! Should have done that myself... Oh well. Good luck on the hunt. Let me know if you find a new source of them.

Just wanted to post an update. Looks like TE discontinued the female pins for the EEC-V connector. I haven't been able to find them in stock anywhere and no part number that supersedes it.

Following thus... I might make my own OBD2 conversion harness for gen2 Rangers :D.

I've found the wedgelocks from au-ve-co for building pigtails, if that's not already known.

Those ones that auveco offers are the same ones that everyone else offers. They are either too big or too small for the eec-iv connector, and there are none of them that are even close to working with the eec-v.

Right, they're for sensors and chassis connections. Still a part of the harness, but not directly related to the ECM connector.

Is this the only option now for connector and terminals? https://www.ebay.com/itm/291392744209

Thanks
