Hello all. here is my current information.
96' Ford Bronco xlt
5.8 obd2, tin3 catch code aganf strategy
tristar performance performance crate motor (full roller) 394hp@ 5500 426tq@4400 dyno graph only measured from 3600-6200 no data below that ...30# injectors (trick flow) high slope set to 40.125 low slope set to 46.497. pulse width- .000748 idle set to 800 in gear 848 idle-neutral
edelbrock performer 3881 intake manifold. stock airbox, maf and throttle body- currently running stock maf transfer was running modified. aluminum heads with scorpion roller rockers. cam is a howards cams- with 112lsa, intake .533-276.5duration, exhaust .544 282.6 duration.
jba ceramic coated shorty headers, magnaflow factory cat replacement 2into1 pipe running l/r factory spec o2-sensors with factory spec post cat o2 sensor. afr sensor installed from performance shop- i do not have an afr gauge though. single inlet dual outlet 2.25 stainless magnaflow muffler and full stainless piping to the dual outlets. msd blaster coil, msd factory replacement distributer, moroso dual insulated plug wires and ngk plugs- not sure of spec. gapped ,35
e4od from monster transmission, with a thor heavy hammer 2300-2500 stall factory trans cooler --trans shift points all moved up 300rpms
.456 gears front and rear with 35x12.5r15 bfgs speedo corrected in psom adjustment in cluster before new drivetrain.
griffin performance radiator, evans waterless coolant, hf water pump, 180 thermostat
factory egr set up and pcv routing.
tweecer rt with modified factory tune ( fuel injector data changed )- laptop with caledit and calcon- no datalogging currently done by me

im getting no check engine light so no issues with that. I have put about 3500 miles on the current set up. I have a since the beginning of driving this had a lugging when at light throttle or decel in the lower speeds, say up to about 50mph, even some harsh shifting also some softer more in the line of firm shifts which are what i asked Monster to do in the build. I have not adjusted anything other than the sea-level load scaling table fn035 which i scaled up due to the performance adders and fn1615a trans indicated torque net i adjusted the entire table down 4tq points each field to soften the shifts. ( had no real long-term effect- it feels like it was softer for a couple drive cycles- 35miles each ultimately still harder than it should be.

Any pointers you all have that could help me achieve a smoother running and more consistent running setup are very welcome.
also concerned about fueling at low end maybe why it is chugging under light throttle.

thank you.

you need to remove dynamic shift pressure to soften the shifts. You want negative values.

return the tq table back to stock

if you have a lean/rich afr readout tapped in to the factory wiring then you need to remove it

Thank you decipha,

The afr sensor is installed in the exhaust but not plugged into anything, the rest of the equipment is with the performance shop that’s been doing some work for me. It’s his gear. It’s a standalone set up and not wired into the factory harness. Also I should mention that I currently have a PRLDSW switch setting of 2 which matches my factory’s setting.
I will get the torque table put back this evening and look for dynamic pressure settings.

Thanks again
