Tuning for alternate fuels such as: CNG / LPG, Ethanol (E-85), Methanol, etc...

So what is the right way to tune for this. I read where snow only wants your IAT's to add timing. I also read where others say to jet the nozzle for best performance. What mixture to run and so on. Whats your thoughts.

Here is what I do on 91 pump gas. My timing table I add 6 to 8 degree;s of timing from 120 load on up. depending on how good the fuel is. I command a 12.4 afr in the same load area. My normal is 11.2. I also rum 4 cans of heat to 1 gallon of walmart -20 wiper fluid. I drop from 240 iats to 120s

What do you run and tune to.

i have my own formula to calc nozzle size in the pre tune write up along with setup details

i dial the tune is first without it then use the wot fuel multiplier to lean it back out to where it was without it

for spark i put that additional timing in the borderline table where i want it, i then use the act spark multiplier table and put 0.2 in the area i have the extra timing in so it pulls out twice as much in that range if the meth fails or hadnt cooled the aircharge yet
