Re: Ltft

That is how I understood it as well. I remember it as you never want the ecu to remove fuel only add it so shooting for the small positive correction will give you that. I know my fuel error isn’t consistent enough to go for 0 and not deal with negative corrections. My car seems to continue adding more fuel the longer it runs. My correction starts right around 1 once it’s up to temp, then as it gets warmer with a few coolant cycles it’ll get right to around 1.03, but then as it runs longer say like an hour it’ll creep up to 1.06. On a hot restart it’ll usually be around 1.10 but then will usually come back down after running for 10-15 mins. With no other tuning experience I have considered this my normal.

Re: Going rich then lean when shifting

I do still have this issue but it has improved by kicking up aem to 2 and then I have also multiplied the lower part of the accel enrichment table in the lower temp areas. It will still go leaner then I want but it doesn’t break up now at least. With my car I’ve noticed it’ll also do it with added load not while shifting. If I round a corner in second when I come out of it and apply throttle it will give off the same symptoms. Also I’m using gufx cuz I have a fox body

Re: Ltft

Do you not recommend targeting 1.03 anymore?

Re: Ltft

You were right the first time multiply by 1.07. Above 1 means it’s adding fuel

Re: Logging wideband

happy to report I am now FINALLY logging my wideband and its working well. I tapped into the brown/green wire at the EGR valve and it seems to working just as it should. The only thing I notice is the reading swings around quite a bit more on the laptop vs the actual gauge?

Re: Cold Start

most likely startup fuel enrichment. I am still working on this area of my tune as well and just recently reset the isc multiplier back to the same as the A9L2 and focusing on getting the fuel perfect first. I have screwed up the way I was making adjustments and got the isc multiplier all jacked up. The adjustments in both of these table are .008 increments and I now think making smaller adjustments is better.

Re: Cold startup rpm

But it’s overshooting the commanded rpm by about 250 for the first 10-15 secs while ispibr is fairly close to zero? My wideband is in warmup mode at this point so I don’t really know what the afr is. I’ve had to pull fuel after 15 secs so I thought it made sense to try it before then too.

Re: Logging wideband

Ok sounds good. Is it really a big no-no to tap the wire in the engine bay? My computer is tucked away so it’d be a lot easier.

Re: Cold startup rpm

I pulled out some fuel in the first 15 secs and it’s brought the initial rpms down much closer to what’s being commanded
