Re: Clearing a Flooded Engine w/ the MAF Table?

I have no idea what your trying to describe about the maf but the ecu uses the top point for lookup and works down. Its the same for eec 5 as it is eec 4.

1023 23
0 20 <--- zero ends the maf curve
below no longer exists and is no longer part of the maf curve regardless of what you put in there.
900 1600
850 1400
800 ....

the above is a valid and non corrupt maf transfer.
You cant have any lower x axis value higher than the above value or it will corrupt. But 0 ends the maf transfer.

ex:
1023 23
1 20
900 1600 << will corrupt the maf.

remember all x axis need to be maximum to minimum values in chronological order for all functions otherwise youll corrupt it.

No, the reason why your maf is inverted is because you didnt setup tunerpro correctly per the getting started write up.

Re: Clearing a Flooded Engine w/ the MAF Table?

no need

simply hold the pedal to the floor while cranking and it shuts off the injectors

and btw you dont have to change all the maf points just the second from the top

change 900 in your example to 0. then set the flows for that and the one above stupid low like you want.

example

1023 30
0 20
850 xxxxx unchanged and unused

btw you show your values inverted.

Also my crank pw code in gufx shuts the injectors off during excessive cranking regardless.

Re: CMP sensor type and offset/info

cam sensor is same as crank its just a simple a/c sine wave variable reluctance sensor for all fords 99+

if its an 01/02 ford engine in a mazda then usually its the same ecu as the ford and runs all the same cals. The mazda pickups come to mind as they run the same ranger ecu's.

Re: Hego Bias / Amplitude

Bias is your value from the FN1353 table. 0.084 is not possible as the memory size doesn't permit a number that high. Lets use 0.010 as an example.

Amplitude is from the fn1352 table. 0.0332 isn't possible as the memory size and equation only allows 3 decimals. Lets use 0.033 as an example.

0.010 / 0.033 == 0.303 is our bias/ptpamp

That bias/ptpamp is higher than the max allowed of 0.171572875254 so it gets set to 0.171573 as a max clip.

That value is from your calculator if you simply plug in 3 - 2.82842712474619 == 0.171572875254. All they are doing is notating it there just for reference only.

Re: Couple questions about A1C tune

ZD2 is A1C its the same strategy

Yeah someone could make a def for BE using tunerpro as the basis. Thats actually how BE started as BE used to have a tunepro xdf importer back in the day.

If your doing all that work to create a BE file why would you do a mass air conversion?

Re: Pcmflash mcmflash recommendations

all you need is those in the getting started write up

back in the day mmcflasher supported the 15+ while pcmflash didn't. That changes years back but at the time of that writing it was correct. I will have to update the write up when time permits.

I use pcmflash for all 98-20 vehicles.

pcmflash doesnt have a 96-97 option for 2 bank eec-v. Oleg added an option for me to read it once but couldnt get it to write so took it out the production release. if someone has an obd2 log read of a 2 bank eec-v shoot it to me or oleg and it'll get added in.

but yeah pcmflash is all you need. I no longer have my mmcflasher dongle, hadn't for a while now.

Yeah I seen they were local but I think they are closed these days. Didn't get any free time though so no biggie regardless.

Re: Stock slot MAF in a 4 inch tube

yeah should all be the same, similar or close 'nough

Yeah 11+ mafs are frequency

later frequency mafs around 2015 or so changed the iat but not a big deal

its on the homepage. http://www.efidynotuning.com/maf101.htm

4" pipe is perfectly fine I've ran up to 5.5" pipe before no probs.
