Re: bank 1 rich bank 2 ok

When you smoke tested, did you block off the intake and exhaust pipes to allow some pressure to build up? ( around 2 psi) I never used one but if there's no pressure build up the smoke has no reason to be forced through smaller leaks or partially sealed areas. It will just go out the air filter or headers.
Also x pipes do something weird to the o2's Running an x pipe? Decipha can chime in?

Re: Tuning laptop recommendation

Yes I will double check settings, and did try the connect button. I've been using tunerpro for years now but the new laptop doesn't like it. My work IT guy erased tunerpro without telling me. With that said I want to use something other than the work tablet.

Re: Tuning laptop recommendation

I tried a fairly new laptop (14 months old?) It would not talk to the QH. It will see a flash drive and those work fine. when i plugged in the QH it chirped like it should but does not connect. Could I be missing a driver or something? I also tried device manager to see what com port its on but It won't even show me com ports in there. I read some com ports have too high a number like com 10 and some programs don't like that but lol It won't show me any, like a stuck up babe, haha. Could a firewall do that?

Re: Tuning laptop recommendation

Yes the toughbook was nice. I had one for work a few years back. My current work one is a dell tablet, not so great.

Tuning laptop recommendation

Are any of the Chromebook or cheapy laptops a go or no go for running tunerproRT with quarterhorse? I'm not tech savvy so idk if a Chromebook would work or not?
Let me know of what you like or to avoid.
Thanks.

Re: fuel pump questions

Can you somehow take a temperature measurement of the actual fuel in the tank? Or even use infared thermometer on the bottom of the tank. If the skin of the tank is near ambient i would think the temp is not a problem. It could just be adding air bubbles somehow. I think I saw a video about the cavitation problem.
