Well, I've seen the switch for like 16 bucks. No need to buy the chip too.

Re: F3V2 switch

Just buy the SCT chip switch and cable, it'll work the same way. Just small.

Re: Unable to locate these PIDs

I have a very, very broken out CDAN4 xdf for 256k binaries. The xdf is my 2nd largest 2 bank in my stash.

I backward configured it based on a 100% broken out CDBA4 xdf I created for a (one year only car) 1996 lincoln mark viii.

I have had several thunderbird/cougar/mustang running on it for about 3 years now.

Crazy how similar it is to the CDBA4. But it has access to all of what you'd need to scale the tune correctly.

It works on all of these CDAN4 bins.

wwhite wrote: 2022 Dec 11, 00:19 I believe the TI au stuff is strictly J3 chip. You can request tunes from them and they burn it. WIth the programmer you can write to their J3.
They use TPRT for editing bins, thats it, I beleive.
You would also need their J3 chip programmer.
They do not have a device like the QuarterHorse.
Ok so at least there's the ability to tune the J3. Just making sure I'd have the ability to address offsets on the chip burning side so I don't have to change anything on all of my XDF's.

Re: MOATES -- FYI

I believe the TI Performance setup would work as long as the offsets can be configured in TPRT.

Can anyone verify?

Neald wrote: 2022 Nov 27, 20:36 I was just going to bring up topic of the SCT 7500.. I'm wondering if it Really needs their software.. or if TunerproRt will work? I will check the burn 2 and FA as well. I thought the burn2 only burned chips removed from a board..?. I could be wrong. Is that a moates product?.

Yes the 7500 requires the PRP and won't communicate with TPRT
Burn2 FE/FA combo won't work on PRP either.

6600 works on both Burn2/FA/FE and JayBird
F3V2 won't work on 7500.
