Only way to get the ram address is from leaked ford doucments AFAIK
Where would you be able to find these documents? I haven't seem anything from the newer stuff and would love to have it to read over.
I have not. The only people that seem to know this memory address want to charge you $250+ to make the change themselves and not tell you what it is 🙄
Edit - sorry I see you were asking Decipha not me.

Re: PATS delete on a 2015 - 2017 Coyote ECU

Thanks for the information and that makes sense from what I've pieced together looking around online. I don't know how they're disabling the ram check with HPT but they certainly claim they can remote into my laptop and use my HPT setup to do it. One person told me he could also do it with the paid version of Forescan. I imagine just by knowing the ran address he could make that change.

The second method you describe sounds like what they're doing with the control pack tunes. I've had a few guys offer to just reflash my ECU with a control pack tune which sounds like it ignores the ram check switch entirely.

PATS delete on a 2015 - 2017 Coyote ECU

Does anyone have any experience deleting PATS on a 2017 Coyote ECU that's been used in a motor swap situation? In this case the engine and ECU was pulled for swap into a 92 Fox but that's all I got. No body modules, gauge cluster etc.

There's a switch within the tune that you can flip for PATS on/off but that's only part of it. That alone does not disable PATS. There's also apparently a switch that needs flipped in the ECU outside of the calibration.

A lot of people seem to have figured it out as there's no shortage of people offering to remotely connect to my PC and using my HP Tuners claim they can disable that switch in the ECU and then any tune I flash on will now support PATS disable if I flip the bit off in the tune. They all want $150, $250 or more. It's not so much the money but more I just like to know how stuff works and how do you disable it in the ECU?

Thanks
Malcolm
