Re: wastegate sizing

(750-750)=0, so in theory, at peak boost the gate won't be suppressing anything. A 44mm gate should be fine than, unless someone tells me that I'm wrong.

wastegate sizing

Turbonetics 60 series 72mm ball bearing unit, capable of approximately 750hp (from online search) engine in N/A form is 375hp, my boost level will be a max of 15psi. So that equates to 750 HP. So would a 44mm gate be sufficient?

Re: SD #80 breakpoint

I'm not sure I understand the 2.4e-5 thing. it's been a while since I've messed with my tuner, 0.00002421somehow translated into 9.465 or something close to that. The way I understand it, I need to convert (lbs per rev) to (lbs per minute)

Ok I understand that now, thanks again, on the injector breakpoint, well I can't find a solid number for the seimens deka 80, I'm using a formula that came out to 9.647ish.

Re: adjusting maf flow

So if this is occurring at say... 2.00volts @180.00 I would take the 180 * 1.056% new value would be 190

adjusting maf flow

So my lambses are .786, and my wideband is reading .842, i take .842-.786=56, so I need to adjust my flow at that maf voltage by 56% ???????

slope tuning

I have read the initial tune process and I think I'm starting to understand it more and more. Could you please explain on what your looking for when dialing in the injector slopes. I guess I should ask, if you have known injector data, what let's me know which slope needs adjusted in which way? Than...

Re: PMAS hpx trouble

Checking my last datalogs, my right o2 sensor stays very lean. Checked it tonight, o2 wiring is badly damaged, Can a bad o2 sensor cause the trouble I'm having? Thanks in advance!

Re: PMAS hpx trouble

Hmmm, well I finally got all of my electrical problems fixed, I think. Anyways, every time I start the car it runs different. Sometimes it's idles smooth, revs up fast, and smoothly as well. Next time it runs rough and won't rev, acts like it's on a 2 step. Where do I need to focus my attention at?

PMAS hpx trouble

Anyone here had any problems with the PMAS hpx maf? Seems like mine gets screwy after the car has sat for any length of time. This is usually remedied by taking the plug out of the maf and cleaning all the pins.

Re: base idle reset

And so my electrical mystery gets deeper. In desperation trying to figure out my ECT open circuit code, If I unplug either ECT ACT my idle runs up, and throws a code for idle air control.

Re: base idle reset

That's good to know, I've been fighting electrical issues since April. MAF pin was dirty and throwing a code. Cleaned it up and all voltage from maf shows good. I can't seem to get the ECT open circuit code to go away. Power and ground has been verified good at the sensors and at the computer.

fox body trouble codes

I noticed on my order sheet from PMAS it say calibrated 50#. Are they possible to "calibrate" for injector size? If it truly is calibrated won't that screw with tuning? I'm using Decipha's A9L2.
