Re: Explorer 4.6 PowerPC definition exist?
Ok, I'm going to read about premium membership, as I'm going to work on these vehicles just doing those changes on calibration, if I change my membership could I obtain a very basic definition so I can do those changes by myself? Like a private definition, or maybe instructions on how to develop this definition on my own.

Explorer 4.6 PowerPC definition exist?
Hi Everybody, currently I will work soon with some Explorers from 05 to 2010 year models, and I would like to know if there is any existing definition available to use, for the moment I'm not going to do any tuning, definition is mostly to disable rear o2 sensors, VVT and some other stuff, and if it doesn't exist, would it be very hard to make one?

I have the one that is sold on China if you know what I mean, cost like 70$ shipped, works good so far, It doesn't have bluetooth like the original but is not important, also you need transparent dongle, tried with a 98 Mustang and 01 Mustang too, tested on a 96 ADA3 truck pcm with no success, but thats normal according to Decipha tech info.ATPCR wrote: ↑2024 Mar 02, 22:05 Scanmatik 2 Pro does write. I've done it two times. It does have the 19v pull up.

When I first purchased it and opened this users manual I said out loud "oh SH*T".

Thanks Michael, going to look for an used one then, I had one many years ago that I bought with BE EA dongle, but never used, project never came up and ended up selling the QH, and lost the dongle, Forscan as you say would give me headaches, I just use to some diagnostics.

Dataloggin options for EEC V
Hi everybody, I'm a little newbe in the tuning area, currently my actual job is diagnosing vehicles, especially wiring and electronics modules, even repairing ecus, I have some skills regarding tuning and started few months ago tuning clients cars in the place where I work, the shop owns 2 Mustangs, one 1998 and one 2001, I've started analyzing how things works in Ford Scene, but I'm stuck in datalloging options, for reading bins I use PCM Flash with Scanmatik 2 interface, but have nothing clear about what do I need to do datalloging, is a Moates Quarterhorse mandatory? Is there any other option (interface) to datalog? Can I datalog with the interface I already have?

Re: Scanmatik 2 Pro & PCMFlash module #29 successful read
I have Scanmatik 2 too, it works good, I've tested via obd2 connected to a 1998 Mustang and a 2001, and Also Read other newer models cars.ATPCR wrote: ↑2023 Nov 26, 13:01 I hope that this is an appropriate category for this post. Maybe all of you experts won't tire of all of my beginner posts.
ADDED: Maybe this should be moved to "Addtional Support"
I finally got to the point hardware, software etc. that I successfully was able to use the Scanmatik Pro 2 device along with PCMFlash module #29 to read an EEC-V PCM via the OBD2 port with my homemade bench box, "black box".
After my money was refunded for the Drewtech Mongoose PRO for Ford, I purchased the Scanmatik Pro 2 from ECUTools. It was recommended by them to use with PCMFlash module #29 that came from them too. The test went well and read an entire 224k bin that the software said that all of the checksums are correct, or however you say it. Here is the bin if Michael or anyone want to check it. The name of the file isn't a very complete name. When I tried to add the date to the file name, I wiped it. It is from a 1999 CVPI P71 ARA1 PCM that may have been dealership flashed up to an ARA3.
I opened in a hex editor program and I can't see how you can tell that the banks are swapped.
