Re: Stock fuel rails

I have recorded around 750ish flywheel on stock fox return system. I had 2 x 255HP's rewired threw a newvolt box, in the stock hat, pushing 42# injectors. At WOT passing around 1200PPH of nitrous, pumps @ 17.5 volts and fuel pressure at 85 psi, the injector duty cycle was 45% at wot pretty much pegg...

Re: A9L2 REVIEW n2o GT40 5.0

welll the only thing i changed in that regards was FN367 injector offset voltage, to what I thought was supposed to be there for the injectors used. Am I incorrect in my thinking and doing so? I fail to see where the corruption is you speak of. I have been banging my head on all of this, for 15+ yea...

Re: A9L2 Base Calibration

Thank You, for the quick response.

is FN901 base spark table no longer used? All timing is now controlled threw FN904A the sea level spark table?

Does the base spark table need to be populated? does it do anything?

Re: Decipha's GUFB foxbody nitrous control

Well my time with this car is limited. The tune that is in it is dialed in and I have already sprayed it, and it wanted to peg the stock meter. I went to a bigger maf and the a9l2. Would like to wire up the fan to the nitrous, dial in the new tune, and spray it. Again my time is limited with this ve...

Re: A discussion on proper use of nitrous.

.104 was the final jet when it lost oil pressure. I didn't flow the system, but guessing by the way it would burn threw a 10# bottle in 2 1/8 mile passes, I figured it was flowing 340+HP N2o last pas was 6.08 @ only 108 mph with no oil pressure the entire run. only reason I stoped running it, was be...

Re: 351w w/2bbl - running lean 6k+

This is an old topic, but I will add my 2 cents regardless. If you have enough fuel pump The needle and seat need to be .110 or larger. As you go up on the needle and seat you need to reduce the fuel pressure. those classes usually dont allow a regulator. you need the largest volume pump with the lo...

Re: METHANOL & A9L

I crew on a screw blown brad, 521 inches. It burns 5 gallons a pass, with burn out, in the 8th mile at 200mph. I do understand the volume needed. I have a stock tank, with sump. should i just make the swap to a mechanical pump, or is there a electric pump that is up to the task? With the mechanical ...

Re: e85 set up

THis was before we had Z-fuel, i used the injector slopes, to adjust for E85 I ran 55# injectors on a 347 with 12 psi at 55 base fuel pressure. duty cycle was low 90's at full song on the race track. I also had a "New Volt" (like a boost-a-pump) capacitative discharge box on the fuel pump,...

Re: E-85 Blow ups

In my experience, the power falls off. if it's to lean, it doesnt make power, if it's to rich, it doesn't make power. when you have it where it wants to be....it usually wants timing, and lots of it.

Re: Scaling MAF

A "cal'd" maf is only called for a stock computer, with a stock tune. Once you change the injector slopes, the maf is no longer cal'd, and must be adjusted for the new slopes. If you are looking for a calculation factor, its the difference between the slopes, or the maf curve. Divide one f...
