Re: 400hp 351w startup tune

Reviving this old dead thread. Trying to get my truck to pass Cali emissions and dude wouldn't even test it with the adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Said he's never seen one with a California EO number so I'll have to put a non-adjustable one back on and bring it back. I'm cool with that cuz I've got EO numbers for everything else but do you guys know of a 30 psi regulator that's not adjustable? I don't mind Re-tuning, should I just go to 60 psi if I can't find a 30?

Re: A1C XDF Additions

Great information. Thank you guys. Play around with reading/writing some values. Looks like like my qh is loosing kams each power off so I'll have to figure that out first.

Re: A1C XDF Additions

Awesome, thanks! This looks great. Curious if you know if there's any KAM addresses that I could store a calculated stoich afr value in. If that's simple enough, it'd be cool to have flex fuel control vs manually updating it

Re: VE table values greater than 1.0

I use hex so I can control rounding up or down. Splitting hairs probably. But easier to control exactly what is happening.

Re: 5.8L Belt Tensioner

Thanks guys I was overthinking it. Got the local one at az.The new spring is much stronger the the 30+ year old one. It has a plastic pulley but I can replaceit at some point.

Re: VE table values greater than 1.0

I find it easier to dial in the ve table in hex view.(Right click on the table and click show raw values) You can also set a cell to ff and then switch back to calculated view to find the maximum value in decimal.

Re: A1C XDF Additions

Fixed hard shifting into third with fn3ulk, I zeroed the 2nd column to force unlock on all 3rd gear upshifts.
I didn't figure out the conversions so any help with that would be awesome.

Func_b73a - FN2LK = Speed ratio delta to relock on upshift to 2nd gear.
Func_b75e - FN2ULK = Speed ratio delta to unlock on usphift to 2nd gear.
Func_b792 - FN3LK = Speed ratio delta to relock on upshift to 3rd gear.
Func_b776 - FN3ULK = Speed ratio delta to unlock on usphift to 3rd gear.
Func_b7ca - FN4LK = Speed ratio delta to relock on upshift to 4th gear.
Func_b7ae - FN4ULK = Speed ratio delta to unlock on usphift to 4th gear.

Re: 1993 F150 4x4 - Trans Tooning

Getting ready to move to my f3v2 chip to free up the QH. One last issue is the trans slams when doing manual 1st to manual 2nd shift but only when throttle is closed. Can that be fixed in software?

5.8L Belt Tensioner

I need a new one. Any recommendations on brands or enclosed/visible spring?
