Re: Not enough MAF Points?
Yeah pump shuts off after 3s of priming, how do I verify it's communicating well with the ECU?
I'm kind of wondering if I have a bad HEGO, or stuck injector or something on Bank 1, as that was where the #1 cylinder filled up with fuel.
Bank 1's HEGO volts are a LOT lower than bank 2.

Re: Not enough MAF Points?
Yes. I might redownload the A9L2 and start back over to make sure.

Re: Not enough MAF Points?
I put the injector data in (using your Siemens 60 patch), then the 24lb calibrated MAF, SARCHG,decipha wrote: ↑2022 May 18, 06:57 No, u havw to put the injector data in first then the maf
read the comments on the injector high slope
they are all the same just displayed to you differently
i wouldnt recommend using the maf he poated as it doesnt go to max and min volts and the points are outside of the histogram so youd have to manually dial it in
It wont run though, at least not well. There's raw fuel coming out of the exhaust and it ended up filling up the #1 cylinder with fuel to where I had to take the spark plug out and turn it over.

Re: Not enough MAF Points?
I will thanks!
I see that some MAF curves have kg/min, lb/min, etc. Does it matter what one I put it into, as long as the unit matches? How does tunerpro know what one to use?

Re: Not enough MAF Points?
And then the 60lbs siemens patch since I'm running the black Siemens 60's?
I recall (a LONG time ago) you said that you use high/low to get close, and then the MAF to fine tune the rest?

Re: Not enough MAF Points?
Since I have Siemen's 60lb injectors, I'll need to multiply the curve by 2.5, right? (60 / 24)dleach1407 wrote: ↑2022 May 17, 18:42 That is not a slot maf, thats an old school "tonsil" style maf. You should be able to use a stock maf curve and just multiply the whole curve by .90, maybe .85 to get it close since its calibrated for 24s. Youre going to have to dial it in regardless.

Re: Not enough MAF Points?
It's a little older, I don't see it on the website. I'm not sure if this photo will show up or not.dleach1407 wrote: ↑2022 May 17, 16:57 https://www.pmas-maf.com/transfer-function/
If it's a newer style sensor it should be clearly labeled which sensor it is. If it's an early one its harder to identify. The outage listed above should help you identify which you have. Both of mine are 10 years old and still going strong. They are the first generation sensor.

Re: Not enough MAF Points?
Can/should I start with the included 7 or 9 points?decipha wrote: ↑2022 May 17, 15:06 Yeah 7 or 9 points is typical to test a maf sensor its only to show that the sensor works and reads air flow it is not a maf curve.
In order to get an actual maf curve you have to send in your intake manifold complete with the throttle body, inlet piping, air filter assembly and all - 100% identical to how it is in the vehicle.
PMAS makes about 25 different slot sensors that look identical so you'll need to manually dial it in as it could be any of them.
Its easy enough just let tunerpro correct it for you using the histograms
Or start with one of the MAF transfer curves from here?: http://efidynotuning.com/maf.htm
