Re: Cooke, Brian (68 Bronco)
Another note-
2 different things going on???
1- When I pin to WOT I get the bog in 2nd gear for datalogs.
2- When I accelerate more gradually through that same rpm range I do not get any bog and my fuel psi gauge does not waver either time.
Just info- I have not touched my FP regulator and I had 6.5" of vacuum at idle with my old cam and I now have almost 9.5" at idle and I am at appr 38-39 psi when I turn the key on prior to starting.

Re: Cooke, Brian (68 Bronco)
I ran a fuel pressure check and it stayed at the (on my gauge) 38-39#'s up thru 5,000rpm.
I left you a couple more texts and a brief voice mail.

Re: Cooke, Brian (68 Bronco)
Are you able to see the bog in the datalog I sent?

Re: Cooke, Brian (68 Bronco)
Put another 40 miles on it today. Runs good till I hit the pedal hard. I watched the AFR carefully and at appr 4200rpms it bogs and the wide band reads over 15.2:1. Seemed to do it once, catch itself and then do it again above 4500rpm. Fugly!
I know nothing about tuning this system but it sure seems that lack of fuel could be causing that "bog" or whatever you want to call it. I don't notice it as much when it's not under a real load when doing a quick 2 sec burnout on my bridge tonight.

Re: Cooke, Brian (68 Bronco)
Michael-
Did a data log tonight.
New wires with resistance checked, new Motorcraft plugs gapped at .050".
You probably don't remember but we had a "bog" or hesitation of some kind around 4K or so last time and couldn't figure it out Anyway, it's much worse now.
You'll see it in the datalog.
I can send you a pic of my air intake if you think you want to see that.
Whatever you need but it's a very noticeable "lack of power" in the rpm band then it takes off fine and accelerates like a bandit to redline just like it does from idle to this rpm band.

Re: Cooke, Brian (68 Bronco)
Fuel pressure should be at 42psi at idle from our previous tunes correct?
I'm just asking for clarification is all. Here's the quote from your tuning page: "Decipha recommends 65psi of base fuel pressure for injectors smaller than 80lb."
