Re: Not getting a "linear" pull

I was wondering if I had a breather filter in on the passenger side do you think this would cause it to drop off like that? I'm wondering if I'm not being an idiot not thinking that through. But I do have datalogs that don't have the drop off of Hego1

Re: Not getting a "linear" pull

the hego seems to be functioning fine its the actual engine misfiring you need to worry about I thought about that right after I posted it. I'm about to go back out and pull the distributor and see what the plugs are. I think they are 3923's but I'm not positive, prob gaped at 28 or 32. it was alon...

Re: Not getting a "linear" pull

Sorry I switched to 42's...sorry.... also running a measly 6psig boost. I already ordered some autolite 23's, I was going to try that and I replaced one oxygen sensor on the drivers side maybe I need to just change out the passenger side too and see if that helps. I do have a brand new one. As far a...

Not getting a "linear" pull

I'm not sure why I keep getting a clipping like pull. Its usually from 3000k and above. I have datalogged a few of them with different maf transfers and different spark settings but they all seem to have this common flag4 when it seems like it starts pulling power away from the car. I'm not sure if ...

I put that back to 200. I have the same load values from my n/a setup. Ok I'll do a datalog and post it. here is my new spark table 0.00 1.00 2.00 3.00 7.00 8.00 9.00 10.00 10.00 10.00 200% 3.00 4.00 5.00 6.00 8.00 11.00 14.00 15.00 15.00 15.00 140% 6.00 7.00 8.00 10.00 12.00 16.00 19.00 20.00 20.00...

Re: Powerdyne Base Tune

I meant air load scaling sealevel vs rpm...sorry I was putting my kid to bed... tuning with a 2 year old sucks sometimes.... I'm trying to reduce timing so I dont blow a head gasket with a boosted motor. 16384 0.00 6500 60.00 5200 65.00 3900 70.00 2600 60.00 1300 60.00 0 75.00

Re: Powerdyne Base Tune

I'm confused on where I decrease my timing. I had the air percent load setup for n/a but where do I pull the timing? Kps1? Or the entire base spark table? I figured 21 or 22 timing would be pretty safe so I'd like to be around that.

Powerdyne Base Tune

I have went through various versions A9L2's and I'm a bit confused. I have downloaded the latest tune and I would just like a second input before I go tearing up the streets or my motor lol. I run really cool under normal moving conditions usually around 160'.... sorry i got a 2 year old hes up and ...

MBT on Performer RPM

I'm trying to get my spark dialed in. At WOT I'm usually around 29-30 degrees after about 2700rpms all the way up. Is this the max I should go with 93 octane? What about running 117 octane on the track?

Re: Maf Transfer

Are you making more hp than 19lb injectors can handle? Out of curiosity why did you get a maf cal'd for 24lb injectors? I would change everything for the initial tune of the A9L2. Then I would make sure I didnt have any mechanical problems (vacuum leak, sucking air after filter, change fuel filter e...

Re: Slight Hesitation

I'd dial in my idle air if I were you. Small changes made a big difference on mine. Thanks! I ended up going back to my previous idle air tune and it seemed alot better but at the same time I cleared the KAMRF and changed the load scaling all at the same time! She is running damn good now. I hopped...

Re: Slight Hesitation

Well I think my fuel is pretty good. I'm not datalogging the LM-1 but I can look and drive at the same time at WOT. But it does jump really fast at idle to pushing on the gas and thats when it delays, it doesnt do it all the time, my mustang runs pretty cold I'm wondering if I'm going from closed lo...

Slight Hesitation

First of all thank Decipha for coming up with this tune and all the writeup's to help guide along the way. Ok first try on the new A9L2 (had old one) I am getting a hesitation when first stepping on the throttle. I remember going through this before one the old one but I cant remember what I changed...
