I saw in your sig that u used a 3 valve 5.4 block on yours. i have a 2005 3 valve block and a Navigator crank in the warehouse. I might just do a 5.4 for the hell of it. i have no 2V heads though. 2004 F-150 Tuning

Hey Mike. Just finished a trans on a 04 F-150 ,4x4,4r70w. Works nice but the truck is a dog. It has a 4.6 ,3.55's and BIG tires. 20x55x305 and man are those buggers heavy. Is there an easy way to pep this thing up with a tune or is it a big deal. It is way under geared in OD with converter locked. I...

Where are the reviews Mike. I've tried other boxes but even though I get a bad one now and then they seem easy to work with. I did have one take out a set of

all the ones I have seen lately have bad caps. And even a good used one is at least 20 yrs old. I might give SI a try. The local parts joint I use lost the last one for 2 weeks. Lucky I had a spare till his was repaired.

Re: Gen 1 Lightning

Yes/// the Performance type gaskets are a coated celluloid material that breaks down over time. They conform to slight miss matches in angles and rough surface finishes better. OEM type gaskets are of course meant for extended use. The GT40 heads on the old lightning call for a slightly larger gaske...
