Accuracy of stock slot in 3.5" tube

Both my cars are using this set up and both have issues being accurate below 1.5v or about 100kg/hr. It seems as if they both idle ok but its more cruising that they get confused. I have a screen on one car and the other has a tube with no joints in it so the screen would have to be pretty far from ...

Re: how to eliminate low load bucking while cruising

I'm in preposition when this happens. Dashpot adjustmemts have done nothing for me thus far. I was demanding 46 degrees of spark in this area and I'm now down to 33. I didn't try going over 46. Seems high but I can try it later.

how to eliminate low load bucking while cruising

This issue has plagued me since i began tuning and i just cant seem to wrap my head around it. Perhaps i am asking too much out of the car but im really not certain. The annoyance begins while cruising along at around 1500 RPM, typically the higher the gear the worse it is. During decel in dashpot m...

Re: TAR jumping all over causing lean bucking?

From what I understand TAR is calculated from TPS voltage and time. Seeing that the TPS volts stay pretty sturdy that makes me wonder.

ill be swapping this into a fox body with a 351w. reason I said crown vic is because an EEC and harness can easily be had at a junkyard. unless theres a car more suitable to get the harness from?

ok right now its at 3.0398 and it seems that the breakpoint is happening too soon at around 1.5 MAFV. I need it to happen closer to 2.0MAFV.

correct breakpoint for siemens 60s

according to the data on the injector flow data page the breakpoint is 0.00003363
does this get multiplied by 4 for a y value of 13.452? or has this already been done and should be 3.363?

Re: Spark help

you have many multipliers in place. compare your tune to A9L2 and fix these functions... FN839 FN1121 I also recommend disabling BPSSW and PFEHP Also, your timing at idle is pretty high. you have no torque reserve. if this is a boosted engine id highly advise rescaling your spark table. better yet, ...

Re: A9L2 rich tip out followed by lean tip in

so I set the MEFTRD scaler to 1.99 and got no results. the problem definitely isn't in my maf transfer because my AFR error is with 2% in the entire curve while in open loop. this issue also doesn't exist while in open loop. attatched is a datalog of the issue. pay close attention to my MAF volts du...

A9L2 rich tip out followed by lean tip in

at pretty much any load and any RPM whenever I decel it goes to around 12:1 and when I tip back in it goes to around 16-20:1. the longer the decel the longer the time it takes for the car to get back to stoich after tip in. things I have tried with no results are as follows... lowered MEFTRD transie...

Re: Data log advise

the best spark is going to be what the engine wants, 26 isn't too uncommon but that doesn't give you any torque reserve for the a/c or an electric fan kicking on, i typically try to shoot for about 16 degrees at idle silly question but how can you increase spark at idle with an added load when the ...
