Re: Shelton, Washington - 2nd week of June
I'll be flying out in a few hours. I will be out there at least until wednesday working at the penitentiary near Shelton. If anyone is around the around give me a shout, I may be able to get some time late evenings.

Re: Best oxygen sensor to use?
japanese ngk/ntk lasts longer and most are medium band, also are usually cheaper for some reason too

Re: New Quarterhorse Changes
No but its not worth waiting for. The only change is the coin cell battery.

Re: Problems with quarter horse tuner pro etc
it does automatically
simply poll data with the histogram opened in the background and itll populate all your corrections

Re: New Quarterhorse Changes
QH is the same its been since 2009.
At one point a resistor changed 1k ohms by accident.
Another point in time the battery holder went from soldered to replaceable holders.
Another point kam saddles were added.
Another point a 5? pin connector was added for the superlogger.
All are interchangeable and function the same.
QH2 will have a smaller board and have a direct memory chip.
Any/All are far superior to the tweecer.
I tried to sell a tweecer for many years to the lowest bidder and couldnt find one. GLWS.

Re: Problems with quarter horse tuner pro etc
if the check engine light is flashing that means you have a major problem
should be obvious on the dash as something should be red or not reading correctly
wideband logs automatically no setup required
simply right click on the wideband on the dash and select your wideband from the drop down list.

Re: Open Loop Fueling (FRCSFT)
You can see it in your math.
Its a percentage of act to ect to use for the input lookup value.
if FRCSFT == 1.0; 1.00 * ACT + ( [1-1]=0 * ECT == all ACT determines the input scaling
if FRCSFT == 0.5; 0.50 * ACT + ( [1-0.5]=0.5 * ECT == Half ACT and half ECT determines the input scaling
if FRCSFT == 0.0; 0.00 * ACT + ([1-0)=1 * ECT == all ECT determines the input scaling
so the temperature use for the lookup function is going to be a percentage of ACT to ECT determined by how much percentage you choose to you in that FRCSFT scalar.
On a cold start ECT and ACT is going to be identical so doesn't matter. But on hot starts ECT should be at full operating temp and ACT should be down near ambient (ideally) unless the IAT is in the plenum which would be nearer to ECT due to heat soak.
Ideally you can use all ECT for input scaling by setting the FRCSFT scalar to 0 which is how all never strategies function.

Re: A9L idle issues
I have no idea how you got those peak load values for fn035 but it wasn't even anywhere remotely close. You severely over inflated those values. Its dialed in now so should be all good.
I dialed in failed load for you to.
enjoy

Re: A9L idle issues
no such thing as a maf not wanting injectors accounted for
sure you can go in and rape the maf but itll never be consistent
Theres only one correct way to dial it in properly. In any iteration the injector data has to always go in first. Its impossible to dial it in properly otherwise.
